This all-weather reflex sight was designed, developed and manufactured specifically for use with the Rippel Effect XRGL40® multi-shot 40mm extended range grenade launcher, when the weapon is set to fire medium velocity (MV) ammunition. It is an electronically programmable reflex sight with an elevation mechanism that automatically compensates for the drift caused by the yaw of the projectile. The GR40® also allows the operator to select between 40x46 mm low velocity and 40x51mm medium velocity (MV) ammunition without any configuration changes. It can be programmed with up to 16 different ballistic profiles. Like the CRAR-32™ sighting system, the GR40® has an ultra low light mode for use with night vision equipment and can be used in complete darkness.
